Overview
We understand that circumstances can change, and you may wish to stop participating in the PowerPay Program. This article explains your options for cancellation and refunds in a clear and transparent way.
Our goal is to maintain fair program rules while providing efficient support for all participants. PowerPay NFTs provide a time-limited utility license (12 or 24 months). The program is currently in beta, and all features, rewards, and integrations are subject to change or discontinuation. All purchases involve irreversible blockchain transactions.
Important Note
PowerPay is a utility tool, not an investment product. By participating, you acknowledge that the program is in active development (beta/pre-launch). Delays, errors, failed payments, utility non-processing, technical issues, and program changes can occur. There are no guarantees regarding rewards, processing success, utility participation, or specific outcomes. You assume all risks and agree to the full Terms and Conditions.
You may cancel your future participation in the PowerPay Program at any time. Cancellation is designed to be as simple as the enrollment process.
How to Cancel
- Log in to your PowerPay account at https://app.setpowerfree.com/.
- Navigate to the Support link.
- Select Submit a request.
- In the subject line, enter: "Request to Cancel PowerPay NFT Participation".
- Provide your account email and NFT details (purchase date and transaction hash if possible).
What happens when you cancel:
- Cancellation takes effect immediately for future activity.
- You will no longer be able to submit new power bills or earn new rewards under that NFT.
- Your NFT license continues until its natural expiration date (12 or 24 months) unless we terminate it earlier.
- Any unused GREEN Tokens in your wallet remain yours.
- The NFT stays in your wallet but loses active utility after expiration.
- You can still access your account to view historical data.
If you need assistance, submit a support ticket at https://support.setpowerfree.com/ with your account email, NFT purchase date, transaction hash, and reason for cancellation.
Refund Requests - General Policy
General Policy
All NFT purchases and related transactions (including gas fees and token swaps) are irrevocable, final, and non-refundable. This is consistent with our Terms and Conditions (Section 8) and the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions.
Limited Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, consider case-by-case goodwill refunds only when all of the following conditions are met:
- The NFT has not been activated or used to submit any power bills.
- You provide complete supporting documentation (transaction hash, screenshots, account details, etc.).
If a refund is approved:
- It will be issued in GREEN Tokens or an equivalent stable value (such as USDC) at our discretion.
- No cash refunds or refunds in the original payment method (e.g., ETH) are available.
- Processing typically takes 14–30 days due to blockchain confirmation and internal reviews.
We do not issue refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Dissatisfaction with beta performance or features
- Market volatility or token value changes
- Failure to meet personal expectations
All refund decisions are made at PowerPay’s sole discretion. Denied requests are final.
Opt-Out Special One-Time Goodwill Window – June 2026 Updates
Due to program updates effective June 1, 2026, we are offering a limited-time goodwill opportunity for existing PowerPay NFT holders.
Eligibility & Deadline
- Submit your request no later than June 21, 2026 at 00:00 UTC.
- You must fully complete the additional confirmation form that our Support team will send you.
What You Will Receive (If Approved)
You will receive a one-time goodwill refund equal to:
Your original PowerPay NFT purchase amount minus the total utility value you have already received through bill payments during the program.
Refunds will be issued in GREEN Tokens (or equivalent stable value at our discretion). This is a voluntary, one-time goodwill gesture and will not be extended or repeated after the deadline.
This special window is separate from our standard refund policy. Approval remains at our sole discretion, and all decisions are final.
Example
Scenario:
You purchased a Full PowerPay NFT (Legendary) for approximately $1,000 USD equivalent in ETH. During your time in the program, you received $370.16 in utility value through power bill submissions.
Under this special one-time goodwill window, you would be eligible to receive:
$629.84 USD equivalent in ETH Tokens
This amount is calculated as:
Original purchase value ($1,000) − Utility value already received ($370.16) = $629.84
This is offered as a voluntary gesture of goodwill and does not constitute an admission of liability or obligation under our standard policies. The refund would be issued in GREEN Tokens (or equivalent stable value at our discretion) to the wallet associated with your account.
Note: This is a simplified example. Your actual refund amount (if approved) will be based on your specific purchase price and the utility value you have received.
What Happens After Cancellation or an Approved Refund
You may no longer submit bills or earn new rewards under that NFT.
Any unused GREEN Tokens in your wallet remain yours.
The NFT remains in your wallet but loses active utility after its natural expiration date.
You can still access your account to view historical data and past activity.
